The Elder Law Section of The Florida Bar is a vibrant community of legal professionals dedicated to serving the needs of Florida’s elderly and individuals with special needs. With members across the state, the Section supports attorneys through education, advocacy, and professional connection—promoting excellence in elder law and enhancing the practice for current and future generations.
Membership in the Elder Law Section is open to all licensed Florida attorneys and law students with an interest in elder law and related issues. Members benefit from opportunities to grow their expertise, influence policy, and take part in Section leadership. The Section also offers a range of resources—from CLE programming to legislative involvement—that help attorneys stay informed and engaged. MEMBERSHIP FEES
Membership is open to all Florida Bar members for an additional $75 per year. Affiliate memberships are available for $75 annually, and law students may join at no cost. Member benefits include access to discounted Elder Law Section CLEs, a subscription to The Elder Law Advocate, and opportunities to engage with the Elder Law community.
